آری، آری ، زندگی زیباست زندگی آتشگهی دیرنده پا برجاست گر بیفروزیش، رقص شعله اش در هر کران پیداست ورنه، خاموش است وخاموشی گناه ماست سیاوش کسرایی / / / / / Life is like fire, can burns forever. If we turn it on we can see flame dances from far away, other wise its dark and thats our fault.

ME and B usually have some arguments about different issues, which at the end we never get to any conclusion, we just talk and express what we think, and I usually ask the questions and defeat his answers.
These conversations are intersting for me and i'm thinking to write them down here, maybe later on would be a good reference for some subject to study.

Tonight we went to see the movie "Memories of a Giesha"
and the questions are:
weather or not men are more powerful than women ( physically)?
if it is/or if it was ( beacuse in majority of cultures women have been sold and bought by men) is it by nature or is it by culture?
If it is by culture then why most this is what ppl believED in most of the cultures?

If by nature men are physically more powerful, then in what respect women are more powerful?

or should I just put it in cultural way and say men are physically DIFFERENT by women, ( It doesn't mean they are more powerful or not)?

If its just cultural, and by nature, men and women enjoy s-e-x in almost the same way ( just a physical s-e-x) and what we have been FEELING is what we have been LEARN by CULTURE, then it means that there is no "basic virtue". Then as long as u haven't been LEARN that what you are doing is wrong, then you are free to enjoy every plesaure.
Then women and men can enjoy the phsyical part of the s-e-x in the same way and they can engage the emotional part in the same way.

[ If I would have an island and bunch of kids, I would have left them in the island and then after 20 years, when ppl had sex with each other, I would have asked girls weather or not they feel different, weather or not they would call it rape, or they would have enjoy it? then I would have known weather it has soem thing to do with culture or nature)




B beleives that this empowerment of men comes from both nature and culture, it was by nature that men are looking for beautiful healthy.... women, and women looks for healthy, strong men. and beacuse men were phsyically more strong than women, they ended up looking for food and do the hunting. and women beacsue of her feeling ended up to be the caregiver ( THis "care giver" is one of those words, I prefer the "care getters") and beacuse humen were living in socitey, then men started to sell and buy thier hunts, and these selling and buysing couse them to have the money, and beacuse women didn't hunt they didn't have any thing out of house to sell or buy. so men had the food so the power.
[ So my qousetion would be couldn't women have the power, couse men are the one who are lookinbg for the sex, so by giving or not giving the sex, women would have the power, seems like this is how the prostitution begins, by trying to recieve the power]

But if we believe that by nature women (and not only beacuse of the culture) have diferent feeling women, which would makes them give the priority to having s-e-x with feeling envolve rather than just a phsical act, while men give the priority to having s-e-x ( seems like all my problem is this, and seems like this is what i called men empowerment) then would that means that by NATURE men needs more than one sextual partner, and being promiscuous?
B believes that men by nature are promiscuous, but by usuing thier MIND and knowledge they have to learn to commite. to have all the equal ritghs.
This way we would have problem of Nature v.s Logic and thinking.
( THis could make sence in the way that, by nature we are lazy adn we prefer to eat and sleep ( pleasures according to our nature) however if we don't do any exercise and we just take advantage of pleasure of sleeping and eating, then we won't become phsyically streong and healthy))
so that means that we can and we should take advantage of all the pleasures as much as they obey our logics.
[so the problem is what is our logics]? the bad thing about sex is, unlike sleeping and eatign its not very visible to draw a line that when and where we are underline of having s-e-x and when we are so overdoze the pleasure.

I was talking to one of our campus minster and he believed that there are things in bible /(religious books) that you can't believe in them.
It was very interesting for me to hear this from a minster!

He also believe that to be a religious person, you have to be wise, cause in details there are lots of contrary informations, Informations that could be contrary with science and "our" logics (21st century believes).
He believed that one should just look at bases, not get confused by details, bases are the ones which are common for all religious all cultures and all races(love), not the details that bring separations and arguments and fights.

he totally believed that religion and morality are not black and white, there are lots of shades of grey in between. Religion does not have answers for all the questions and thats the beauty of it.
He believed that only a kid needs all answer and wants every thing in black and white, so he would know what is expected from him, and if he doesn't have an answer he would feel insecure.
A mature mind would not need every thing in black and white and all answers. The mature mind can think and make decision and make choices,( I'm not sure how that would work in society;), seems God had more trust in ppl that i do ;) )
I remember I heard some thing like that from Dr. Elahi Ghomsheiee too, He said there are lots of contrary informations in our religious book, there are there just as a prove to amuse you, and show that its not a simple book and you can find different things regarding how you look at it.

P.s1: I was talking with a good firend of mine; Rouzbeh (Khodavandash, behesah vaghte ezafeho pianoy khosh seda dehad) and he jsut remind me that one of the "so called value" which is so unpleasent for me to accpet and behave regardingly, its a value which is influenced on my by comunity and other society might not even cosider that as a value but even supressing it.
This is such a relieve and save of energy and ( maghzee) and a great reminder that I'm not "swiming aginst the river of "Every body elses" values, but swiming in the same direction of other comuinty's values)

P.s2 :I feel so previlage to grown up in a different comunity with different values, so i would know ther are othere values, and be able to confuse which one is better :) and also know ( or better to say be reminded) that beacuse every body beleives in a value it wouldn't make that value "The True value."

and I'm so privilage that by nature I'm so anti booooosh and chakere daria khanoom ;)

P.s 3: One of the sweatest and funnest thing is to find out some body says some thing nice or funny about you some where that they didn't necessarly expect you to know. e.g after couple of years you take some one's thesis to read and you find out at the first page they thanked you and acknolwdge you, ( momkene ke az sooske rooy divar ham tashakor kardeh bashanda, ama be har hal didane esmet ke ekhtesasi tashakor shodeh azat, bekhosoos ke medooni be taraf hichi noon gharz nadadi, va taraf baraye inke khoodesho loos kone ya nomreh behtar begire in karo nakarde)

P.s 4: in poste paieene ro hich kasi comment nazashte, age halo hosele darin commenthaye pinglishe mano bekhoonin, doost daram bedoonam nazaretoon chie va che bardashti daer che jahati darin (nesbat be oon coment ha).

One of the things i really like about Rahaayi's weblog is there are conversations in his comments, ppl (his firends) talk about the subject, and they reply to each other, its not just about waiting to see a new post and read it and thats it.

P.s 5: During the exam time some ppl( probably old ladies) make some cookies or buys some and then they donate it for students who are studing hard and get tired. These cookies are offered
with tea and coffee for free through campus minster ( thats where I talk to Mr . minster )
For me its very interesting that ppl donate cookies for students who can afford buying them. I have these feeling that if u want to donate some thing its better to donate it to some one who can't afford it or its hard for them to afford it.
Howeve, man shakhsan mokhlese cookie oonham az noe free hastam! :)

One of the things we have recently start doing it on sundays is گرفتن فال قهوه
we do it just for the sake of sharing some lought and good time together.
yesterday Parm who is 16, was trying to to read the signs in my فال
and thats what she said:
I see some one here,
he is climbing a mountain,
mmm, there is K in his name and he smells like coffee.

Have you ever ask a girl why you don't get married?
And she replied:

and you've think she was joking?

She was totally honest with you!

This is sweet. One of his emotional writting.
